Major Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading international automotive company with a significant presence in the Shipley area (commutable from Bradford and West Leeds). Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.

Your Role as a Manufacturing Operative: As a key member of the factory team, you will be involved in:

  • Operating machinery to produce high-quality automotive parts.
  • Testing cooling systems for off-highway vehicles.
  • Assembling oil coolers for tractors.
  • Building and assembling modules.
  • Handling heavy-duty industrial equipment.
  • Ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards and customer timelines.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Following detailed plans and manufacturing processes.

Full training will be provided to help you excel in your role.

What We're Looking For: We're seeking individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a production or assembly environment.
  • Familiarity with machine operations and factory settings.
  • Ability to handle manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and timekeeping.

Shift Patterns: Weekly alternating shifts:

  • Week 1: Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm, Friday: 6am - 11am

Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour
