Major Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading international automotive company with a strong presence in the Shipley area (easily commutable from Bradford and West Leeds). Our client operates a large, expanding factory employing over 700 people across the UK. We are currently seeking motivated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.

Your Role as a Production Operative

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality components using power tools and technical drawings. You’ll also operate machinery and assist in the production process. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in precision and efficiency.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday Thursday: 14:00 22:00
  • Friday: 11:00 16:00
  • 37 hours per week
  • Early finish every Friday!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out basic production tasks
  • Building and assembling automotive components
  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently
  • Using a variety of power tools
  • Reading and working from detailed technical drawings
  • Performing basic quality checks
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Collaborating with your team while also working independently
