CAD / REVIT Engineer

Salary: Β£35,000-Β£45,000, negotiable depending on experience
Major Recruitment is recruiting a CAD / REVIT Engineer for an established, growing engineering business specialising in ventilation, air conditioning and HVAC services.
This is an opportunity for a CAD / REVIT Engineer to produce detailed ductwork and air conditioning drawings, carry out site surveys and support project coordination.
The role
As a CAD / REVIT Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate working drawings for production and installation.
- Designing and detailing ductwork and air conditioning systems.
- Carrying out site surveys, gathering information and coordinating system routes.
- Producing take-offs for estimating and assisting with estimates.
- Preparing bills of materials.
- Checking completed drawings and incorporating equipment details accurately.
- Maintaining schedules for issued and received drawings.
- Providing drawing time information to support project scheduling.
- Copying and printing drawings as required.
- Developing your skills through training in additional CAD packages.
About you
The successful CAD / REVIT Engineer will have:
- Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to drawing accuracy.
- Good IT, organisation and time management skills.
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ideally, three years' experience in a similar position, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
