Our client is looking for an experienced Permanent Shift Engineer to join their business. A Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with experience within the FMCG/Food industry is required. Rotating shifts are Monday to Friday: 6.00 am to 2.00 pm, 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm, and 10.00 pm to 6.00 am.
- Plan & prioritise work to minimise downtime and maximise output.
- Attend breakdowns.
- Carry out any necessary repairs to plant, equipment and facilities during production.
- Champion continuous improvement.
- Maintenance of service equipment.
- Log all completed work using SAP.
Requirements:
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring
- HND/HNC in electrical/mechanical engineering
- PLC programming
- Fault finding
- Previous hands-on experience within the food industry
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills and be reactive and proactive at all times.
