Galvanizing Operatives Required
Location: Sittingbourne
Temp-Perm Shifts Available:
- 06:00 - 14:00
- 14:00 - 22:00
- 22:00 - 06:00
Pay Rates:
- £13.43 per hour - Hours worked between 06:00 and 18:00
- £14.49 per hour - Hours worked between 18:00 and 22:00
- £20.15 per hour - OT Rate - Time and a half
Major Recruitment is currently recruiting Galvanizing Operatives on behalf of our well-established client based in Sittingbourne. Our client provides a complete surface treatment service, including:
- Shot Blasting
- Hot Dip Galvanizing
- Powder Coating
- Duplex Coating

The Role:
As a Galvanizing Operative, your duties will include:
- Preparing steel products for the hot dip galvanizing process
- Operating a range of hand and power tools safely
- Loading and unloading materials
- Carrying out general production and manual handling duties
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience in galvanizing one or more of the following sectors:
- Engineering
- Manufacturing
- Production
- Warehouse
A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience. You can be trained from scratch; this is a hands-on physical job working with metal.
Training & Induction:
Successful candidates at Interview will complete a 2-day induction and training programme before starting the role.
