A major global brand is driving a significant commercial transformation - and they need a sharp, analytically-minded Commercial Pricing Manager to help lead it. This is a genuinely exciting brief: complex, fast-moving, and high-impact, at the intersection of pricing strategy, digital commerce, and AI-enabled decision-making.
You'll be working directly with commercial, analytics, ML, and product teams to translate data into clear pricing decisions, pressure-test recommendations, and help the business move faster with greater confidence. If you thrive in ambiguity, bring consulting-style structure, and know how to make complex analysis land with senior stakeholders, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse e-commerce performance drivers - conversion, pricing dynamics, customer segmentation, category mix, promotional activity, and revenue and margin impact - to surface commercially actionable insights.
- Translate complex commercial analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations, including options, trade-offs, risks, and next steps for senior stakeholders.
- Partner with ML and data science teams on AI-driven pricing tools: defining business requirements, validating model outputs, identifying commercial edge cases, and translating outputs into practical actions.
- Pressure-test pricing recommendations from a commercial perspective, considering customer impact, operational feasibility, adoption risk, and execution readiness.
- Build decision packs, performance readouts, and senior stakeholder materials that enable faster, higher-confidence commercial decisions.
- Support business teams in adopting pricing recommendations consistently, helping embed learnings into repeatable ways of working.
- Proven background in e-commerce, digital commerce, D2C, commercial pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics - ideally within a fast-paced consumer or subscription environment.
- Strong hands-on analytical capability: advanced SQL, Tableau or equivalent BI platforms, and confident use of large commercial datasets.
- Experience working alongside ML or data science teams on AI-driven pricing or recommendation tools, including defining requirements, validating outputs, and translating model recommendations into business actions.
- Consulting-style problem solving: able to structure ambiguous problems quickly, work at pace, and deliver high-quality outputs for senior audiences.
- Practical understanding of experimentation and measurement, including A/B testing, incrementality, and the limits of simple before-and-after analysis.
- Strong commercial judgement, clear written and verbal communication, and the confidence to challenge recommendations constructively.
