You'll lead a team of five paid social specialists and take ownership of the department's strategic direction, while staying close to the biggest client accounts yourself. This is 40% strategy, 30% people management, and 30% direct client work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall paid social department strategy, setting direction across campaigns, platforms, and performance frameworks
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of five paid social specialists (two mid-weight, three senior)
  • Directly manage the agency's highest-value client accounts, with budgets up to £100k/month
  • Represent the paid social function at senior client level, delivering strategic insight and growth recommendations

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years in paid social, ideally from an agency background
  • Proven track record managing client accounts with £30k–100k+ monthly ad spend
  • Deep hands-on knowledge across Meta and TikTok (Google, Snapchat, Pinterest a strong plus)
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing paid social teams
  • Strong creative sensibility — you know what good creative looks like and can brief/evaluate accordingly
