Job Title: Social Media Manager (Maternity Cover – 12-Month FTC)
Location: London (4 days in-office, 1 day WFH)
Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months), Full Time
The Role:
A much-loved hospitality brand is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead their organic social channels during a 12-month maternity cover.
This is a hands-on, content creator led role in a fast-paced, warm, and collaborative in-house marketing team.
You’ll take the reins on the brand’s social storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, creating lo-fi, reactive content, driving engagement, and building community. This is a rare opportunity to combine creativity, strategy, and agility in a role where your ideas can make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the day-to-day output and strategy across all organic social channels (especially Instagram and TikTok)
- Plan and post engaging, on-brand content using iPhone-led capture—BTS & storytelling
- Manage freelance videographers
- Create and maintain a content calendar aligned to broader marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with the Creative and Content teams to deliver scroll-stopping visuals and campaigns
- Be on the ground at brand events to capture social-first content
- Lead on community management, working with the guest experience team and escalating where needed
- Curate and repost user-generated content and build relationships with followers
- Help drive influencer outreach in partnership with PR and Partnerships team
Who We’re Looking For:
- 4-5 years of experience in social media management (agency or in-house)
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing social content, particularly short-form video
- Skilled in lo-fi content creation, trend-spotting, and audience engagement
- Experience working with freelancers, creators, or social media agencies
- Highly organised, with strong planning and project management skills
- A confident and collaborative communicator who thrives in team settings
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to shifting priorities
- Passionate about the hospitality, food, and culture space
