A fast-growing creative experiences agency is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and grow the agency’s own digital presence.
This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll shape how the agency shows up online – from storytelling and trends to content creation and employer branding. You’ll be instrumental in building not just a following, but a thriving community of talent, clients, and industry partners, strengthening the agency’s profile and positioning it as a leading creative employer. This is a hybrid role based in Woking (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), offering creative autonomy and close collaboration with the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the agency’s social media and marketing strategy to grow brand awareness, attract top talent, and engage target audiences.
- Define and own tone of voice, content pillars, and posting cadence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube).
- Plan and manage the content calendar aligned to recruitment campaigns, agency milestones, and thought leadership.
- Create and publish engaging content — posts, stories, video snippets, graphics, blogs, and newsletters — highlighting agency culture, projects, and people.
- Collaborate with internal teams to source content from day-to-day operations, events, and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Manage community engagement, responding to comments/messages and nurturing a highly engaged audience.
- Track and analyse performance metrics, providing insights to refine strategy and demonstrate impact.
- Support internal communications through newsletters, culture updates, and leadership messaging.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and platform updates to ensure the agency is positioned as innovative and forward-thinking.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing social media and content strategy for an agency, creative business, or professional services brand.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with a flair for highlighting culture, people, and projects.
- Confident using design and editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar).
- Experience with analytics, reporting, and using insights to optimise performance.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple content streams at pace.
- Passion for digital culture, trends, and building communities.
- Bonus: experience running paid social campaigns or employer branding initiatives.
Salary & Benefits
- Full ownership of the agency’s social and marketing strategy.
- Opportunity to shape the agency’s employer brand and market positioning.
- Exposure to high-profile projects and a creative, innovative team.
- Hybrid working: 3 days in Surrey office, 2 days remote.
- Permanent, full-time contract.
