This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior, high-impact commercial role within a fast-growing consumer subscription business at a critical scaling stage. The business has grown rapidly over recent years and is now investing in more senior commercial leadership to unlock the next phase of growth. Customer Lifetime Value is a core strategic priority - and this role owns it end-to-end. They’re looking for a Commercial Lead to take full accountability for retention, monetisation and LTV optimisation. This is a standalone, individual contributor role with real visibility, influence and long-term progression potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive Customer Lifetime Value across the business
- Develop and execute retention and reactivation strategies to reduce churn and increase long-term value
- Build and own LTV frameworks, reporting and modelling to inform commercial decision-making
- Partner closely with digital product and data teams to shape features and journeys that drive retention and monetisation
- Lead segmentation and personalisation initiatives across CRM, product and lifecycle journeys
- Identify and deliver commercial experiments across pricing, onboarding, discounts, gifting and rewards
- Present clear insights, recommendations and roadmaps to senior leadership
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience owning LTV, retention or monetisation end-to-end within a D2C or subscription business
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, including cohort analysis and financial modelling
- Experience defining strategy and building roadmaps, not just executing someone else’s plan
- Confident running experiments, interpreting results and scaling what works
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
- Experience using BI tools such as Looker (or similar)
- Strong understanding of churn, ARPU, payback periods and cohort performance
