We’re supporting a leading agency as they look to bring in an Account Director / Senior Account Director (PR) on a freelance basis to provide senior leadership across a portfolio of high-profile consumer brands. This role sits at the heart of a very senior earned team and will suit a confident AD/SAD who can operate strategically, lead delivery across always-on press office activity and seasonal campaign spikes, and partner closely with clients, creatives and internal teams. There’s also strong exposure to new business, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping ideas and contributing from a research-led, strategic perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior oversight of earned (PR & Social) delivery across multiple consumer accounts
- Leading always-on press office activity alongside seasonal and calendar-led campaign spikes
- Strategic client consultation, ensuring creative responses and high-quality delivery
- Overseeing creative brief responses, reporting and campaign planning
- Financial management including quoting, budgeting and invoicing oversight
- Supporting toolkit development, content calendars and content/production reviews
- Collaborating closely with creative, content and influencer teams
- Contributing to new business opportunities from a strategic and insight-led POV
Skills & Experience
- Strong, broad consumer PR background at AD / SAD level
- Solid understanding of social, content and influencer-led activity
- Confident senior client presence with experience leading multiple stakeholders
- Commercially minded with experience owning budgets and financial processes
- Passion for new business and strategic thinking
Project Scope & Duration
- Initial 3-month freelance contract, with an ideal start w/c 23rd February (earlier start considered)
Location & Workplace Policy
- Hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office.
