This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to work on big, ambitious global brands, collaborating closely with creative, PR and social teams on award-winning, culturally-led communications strategy.

About the role

As Communications Strategy Manager, you'll support the wider strategy team in developing creative, insight-led comms strategy for a major global brand portfolio. You'll work closely with senior strategists and clients day-to-day, contributing to workshops, presentations and cross-channel strategic thinking - with genuine exposure to global partnerships and big-idea development.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the development of comms and media strategy across a major global FMCG brand
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with creative, PR and social teams
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and strategic status updates
  • Contributing to global partnership and innovation opportunities
  • Bringing creative, cultural thinking to data-informed strategy

Skills & experience

Essential:

  • Media strategy or planning background (agency-side)
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills — ability to translate insight into a compelling narrative
  • Comfortable working directly with clients day-to-day (no dedicated account management layer on this team)
  • Genuine interest in strategy as a craft, not just planning execution

Desirable:

  • Experience across global or multi-market campaigns
  • Comfortable working with data/tools, balanced with creative/cultural thinking
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, PR or social teams
  • Exposure to global partnerships or big-idea/innovation work

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

Interview process: Informal chat followed by a short strategic response task (max. 10 slides) - designed to see how you think, not to expect a full strategy deck.
