A fast-growing, mission-led D2C wellness brand is looking for a Social Media & Community Lead to take full ownership of their social presence and community strategy. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, ambitious team at a pivotal moment: a fresh rebrand, a growing product range, and a passionate, highly engaged audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take the reins on social strategy across the brand's key platforms, deciding what gets made, how it shows up, and how it performs.
- Identify, build and manage partnerships with YouTube creators who align with the brand's values and can credibly reach new audiences.
- Nurture and grow a large, already-thriving online community.
- Turn loyal customers into active advocates by designing a referral and community programme that drives measurable commercial impact.
- Get stuck in with content creation yourself, shooting and cutting on your phone when the moment calls for it, and working with the in-house creative team.
Skills & Experience
- Solid social media experience (4-5 years) within a consumer-facing brand — DTC, health or wellness background a real plus.
- A track record of building communities, not just growing follower counts — you know the difference and you've delivered the former.
- You can pick up a phone, film something that feels native and real, and know instinctively whether it lands.
- You understand how the platforms actually work, not surface-level best practice, but the kind of knowledge that comes from testing, failing and iterating.
- Analytical enough to know when the numbers are telling you something, but not so dependent on data that you lose your gut instinct.
- You've thrived in a small, fast-moving environment where nobody's handing you a playbook.
Personal Attributes
- You're motivated by the mission, not just the metrics; this is a brand with real purpose and you want to be part of that.
- Comfortable operating with autonomy and finding your own way through ambiguity.
- Sharp enough commercially to know when creative ideas need to earn their keep.
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000–£55,000
- Private medical insurance
- Stock options
- Learning & development budget
- Monthly wellbeing and recognition perks
- Free products for you, your friends and family
Location & Workplace Policy
- London-based
- Hybrid working: 2–3 days in the office per week
- Flexible, relaxed working culture
- Small, close-knit team with a genuine startup mentality
- Reports into the Head of Brand
