We’re looking for a Senior Communications Planner to step into a global marketing environment at a critical point where long-range strategic planning transitions into market activation. This role acts as the strategic guardian of the integrated plan - ensuring that as timelines, priorities and deliverables evolve, the original vision and core principles remain intact.
You’ll sit at the centre of a complex, multi-channel ecosystem, driving cross-team alignment, leading strategic continuity reviews and making key recommendations on plan changes. This is a high-impact, non-executional position focused on governance, integration and translating long-term strategy into clear, actionable direction.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the strategic lead for maintaining the integrity of integrated marketing plans as they move into activation
- Review and evaluate plan changes as timelines and priorities shift, making recommendations on what to approve or challenge
- Lead regular cross-functional alignment sessions to ensure continuity across teams and channels
- Own the holistic view across all Owned, Earned, Shared and Paid communications
- Partner with market liaison and integrated marketing teams to ensure strategic consistency
- Translate high-level planning into clear frameworks that guide delivery teams
- Proven experience in a senior communications planning role within a complex, multi-channel environment
- Strong integrated planning expertise across OES+P
- Background in communications strategy (rather than purely marketing or activation)
- Experience working with multiple audiences and global stakeholder groups
- Highly analytical with the ability to connect long-term strategy to in-market activity
- Confident leading strategic reviews and influencing senior cross-functional teams
Initial 6-month contract supporting the transition from long-range planning into in-market activation, with responsibility for strategic governance and cross-team alignment.
