A world-class creative studio is looking for a PR & Social Media Director to own and evolve how they show up in the world. This is a rare, senior communications role inside one of the most culturally respected studios in the industry. If you're a sharp, hands-on communicator who thrives at the intersection of press, social, and creative culture, this one's for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the studio's full global communications remit: corporate comms, press office, social media, public speaking, and creative activations.
- Build and drive the editorial and content calendar across press, social, and events — ensuring consistency, relevance, and momentum.
- Lead proactive media outreach, journalist relationship-building, and newsjacking across design, business, culture, and creativity press.
- Develop and secure high-quality speaking opportunities for senior leaders across conferences, panels, podcasts, and events.
- Partner with the C-suite and senior strategists to ghostwrite and produce thought leadership that connects creativity to business impact.
- Define, track, and report on communications KPIs, auditing performance and continuously raising the quality bar.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in PR and communications at a senior level, ideally within a creative, design, or agency environment.
- Strong editorial instincts — able to craft compelling long and short-form content and identify sharp news hooks.
- Experience managing and evolving social media strategy for a brand or business, not just execution.
- Demonstrated ability to secure media coverage and build lasting journalist relationships across relevant press verticals.
- Comfortable working closely with and influencing senior stakeholders and C-suite leadership.
- A strong network across design, culture, and business media is a significant advantage.
Personal Attributes
- Culturally curious and plugged into the conversations that matter — online and off.
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on: you build things, you get things done, you don't wait to be told.
- Calm, organised, and output-driven in a fast-moving, creative environment.
- A natural storyteller who can translate complex ideas into narratives that travel.
Location & Workplace Policy
- London
- Predominantly in-person with an optional WFH Friday.
- 20 additional remote days per year.
- 25 days holiday + UK bank holidays + 1 additional day per year (capped at 5) + Christmas studio closure.
