About the agency

An independent, fast-growing media agency is investing significantly in its paid media capability following a strong period of client growth. Its client roster spans B2B and B2C financial services, transport and public sector, consumer brands, a well-known membership body in the creative industries, and B2B telecoms - offering broad, varied exposure across sectors and marketing objectives.

The role

This is a search-led Paid Media Manager role, supporting and eventually taking on shared ownership of paid search activity across the client portfolio, before expanding into paid social and programmatic. Initially:

  • ~50% supporting on paid search management across the client base
  • ~50% getting up to speed on paid social and programmatic across a range of accounts

Over time, you'll build a genuinely cross-channel remit, working directly with senior stakeholders on strategy and delivery.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong hands-on experience in paid search (Google Ads) as a core channel
  • Comfortable adapting to paid social and programmatic — audience-based buying experience a plus
  • Open to candidates from network or independent agency backgrounds
  • Curious, questioning, and genuinely invested in doing great work — not just managing campaigns, but challenging and improving them
  • A collaborative, hands-on attitude suited to a smaller agency environment

Please note: Candidates must have full right to work in the UK. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.

Process

  • Initial Teams call (45–60 mins) - competency-based, getting to know your experience and fit
  • Face-to-face second stage- a short test, followed by a presentation and conversation
