MUST HAVES

  • Proven experience in a media agency in a planning and buying role
  • Strong cross-channel media knowledge across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Exceptional attention to detail across plans, reports and financial admin
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

THE ROLE

As Account Manager you will take end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of clients, working closely with senior leadership to deliver innovative, effective media campaigns. You will be the day-to-day lead for your accounts while also developing the talent around you.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing junior planners, buyers and executives
  • Delivering effective and innovative media planning and buying across all channels
  • Staying ahead of the latest media technology, trends and opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong client and media owner relationships
  • Contributing to new business pitches and proactively identifying growth opportunities
  • Overseeing financial administration including billing, forecasting and reporting
  • Ensuring all client deliverables are accurate, on time and to the highest standard

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Media agency background at planner/buyer or senior executive level
  • Strong cross-channel media knowledge
  • IPA qualifications (or working towards — supported by the agency)
  • Google Ads and/or Facebook Blueprint certification (desirable)
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, ideas-driven approach
  • A natural relationship builder — with clients, media owners and internal teams
