A consumer health brand is looking for a Head of Social to lead their next chapter. This is a rare opportunity to own social strategy and delivery across both a highly engaged consumer audience and a business-facing audience, with real appetite from the top to shift meaningful brand-building budget into social.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the global social media strategy across both consumer and business-facing audiences
  • Lead, develop and grow a team of five (including social managers, a community manager, a specialist and an editor)
  • Act as the internal expert and advisor on social to senior stakeholders, including board-level presentations
  • Shape and grow an emerging influencer approach, working alongside the brand's ambassador programme
  • Partner with in-house content and external agency partners to deliver a consistent volume of brand-building social content
  • Champion a shift of above-the-line brand budget into owned and paid social channels

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading social strategy and a social team at a senior/Head of level, ideally within a consumer-facing brand
  • Demonstrable credibility operating in a more B2B-adjacent environment, alongside consumer social expertise
  • Experience presenting and advising at senior leadership/board level
  • Comfortable operating within a regulated or corporate-adjacent environment
  • Track record of managing agency relationships and in-house content production in parallel
