The Company
A high-growth, VC-backed tech platform with millions of users and a strong AI-first product strategy. They're scaling fast and investing heavily in social as a genuine growth engine. The business is going through a significant creative transition: doubling down on AI-led content, rebuilding how social gets made, and looking for a social lead who is genuinely excited about what AI means for content, not just tolerant of it.
The Role
You’ll own organic social end-to-end: strategy, content, team, and performance. This is a player-manager role, you set the direction and you ship the work. You write scripts, hit publish, and coach the team to the same standard. You’ll work across all major platforms with a focus on product-led content that drives awareness, acquisition and retention. You’ll also manage founder‑led content. Paid social and influencer sit in a separate growth team, you’ll collaborate closely with both.
What You'll Own
- Set and own the organic social strategy across all key platforms
- Turn product features and AI launches into scroll-stopping social moments
- Build repeatable content series and launch frameworks tied to product and growth moments
- Lead a team of four: Social Growth Strategist, Community Manager, and two organic creators
- Own founder‑led content and brand voice
- Track KPIs obsessively and translate data into action
- Stay ahead of platform trends and AI innovation; move fast to test and adapt
- Collaborate with paid social and influencer teams to amplify reach
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience driving product‑led social growth, not just brand awareness
- B2B SaaS background with PLG or sales‑assisted growth experience
- Startup experience preferred, you're used to moving fast with lean resources
- Experienced team manager, not a first‑time people lead
- Genuinely passionate about AI and AI‑generated content, this is non‑negotiable
- Already using AI tools in your day‑to‑day workflow and building systems with them
- Data‑obsessed: you track what matters, spot what's working early, and act on it
- Sharp across copy and creative, you can distil complex product info into content that moves people
- Strong creative instincts with an eye for design and ear for brand voice
- London‑based preferred
- Nice to have: comfortable on camera
What's On Offer
- Equity: share in the company's growth
- Unlimited paid holidays
- Monthly lifestyle subsidy: gym, childcare, home office, your call
- Full home office set‑up provided
- Mental health support
