This is a role for someone who lives and breathes delivery platforms. Not in a casual, keep-an-eye-on-it way, but someone who genuinely understands how Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and DoorDash work from the inside: the algorithms, the promotional mechanics, the levers that drive visibility and conversion, and the relationships that unlock commercial edge. You'd be joining the Digital team of one of the world's most recognised restaurant groups, a multi-brand portfolio spanning fine dining, casual concepts, and everything in between, operating across both the UK and the US. The delivery channel is growing fast, and this hire is here to own it: performance, partnerships, platform management, and the commercial strategy that ties it all together.
Reporting to the Digital Trading Manager, you'll have real autonomy across a genuinely complex, multi-site estate, with the brand weight to open doors at the platforms and the data to back up every decision you make.
What you'll be doing:
- Own day-to-day management of the restaurant group's presence across Uber Eats, Deliveroo, DoorDash, and any emerging delivery platforms.
- Drive prominence and visibility within platform algorithms through strategic use of promotions, sponsored placements, and partner toolkits.
- Continuously optimise menu content, imagery, descriptions, and pricing to maximise conversion and average order value.
- Monitor platform health across all venues, identifying and resolving issues before they impact guest experience or sales.
- Stay ahead of platform updates and new features, proactively bringing commercial recommendations to the business.
Commercial performance:
- Own delivery channel KPIs including revenue, order volume, conversion rate, average basket size, and commission efficiency.
- Produce regular performance reporting across all venues and platforms, translating data into clear commercial insight and action.
- Identify and execute margin optimisation opportunities, balancing top-line growth with profitability.
- Support the build of a delivery trading calendar aligned to brand moments, seasonal windows, and platform promotional cycles.
- Work closely with the Digital Trading Manager to ensure delivery activity aligns with the broader digital trading strategy.
Partnership & relationship management:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for delivery platform partners, building productive, commercially focused relationships.
- Negotiate and unlock incremental opportunities, co‑marketing, featured placement, promotional investment, across multiple platforms.
- Represent the business professionally in partner meetings and joint business planning sessions.
- Manage relationships across multiple delivery partners simultaneously, ensuring each receives appropriate focus and accountability.
Operations collaboration:
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure delivery channels consistently deliver a high‑quality guest experience, from accuracy and packaging to speed and ratings.
- Act as the bridge between digital and ops, flagging performance issues and coordinating resolutions across venues.
- Support onboarding of new venues or brands onto delivery platforms, managing the end‑to‑end launch process in partnership with ops and marketing stakeholders.
About you:
- You'll need deep, hands‑on knowledge of the major delivery platforms, either through direct employment at Uber Eats, Deliveroo, or DoorDash, or through extensive partner‑side experience managing a significant multi‑site estate.
- Beyond the platform expertise, you're commercially driven, data‑literate, and comfortable managing complex external relationships alongside internal stakeholders across digital and operations.
- Deep working knowledge of Uber Eats, Deliveroo, DoorDash, and comparable delivery platforms.
- A track record of driving revenue and performance improvement through the delivery channel.
- Confident with data, able to build, interrogate, and communicate performance dashboards and insight.
- Experience managing multi‑site or multi‑brand delivery operations.
- An effective relationship manager with the ability to influence both external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities across a fast‑moving environment.
Location & Workplace Policy: Central London 4 days office.
Salary & Benefits: 20 days holiday, pension, private medical, 50% discounts and generous F&F discounts, lunch provided in office locations.
Equal Opportunity: We offer equal opportunities to all candidates regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age, and other protected status as required by applicable law.
