I'm partnering with a leading network agency in London to find an Associate Director, Publishing, to join their offline/print media team. This is an excellent opportunity for a genuine print specialist to step into a senior role within a highly respected network agency, with the chance to broaden into audio too.
About the Role
This role sits within a small, tight-knit team specialising in print and audio media. The team is currently stretched thin on print expertise, so they're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and genuinely own that space — not someone looking to be upskilled into it.
You'll be working across a mix of accounts spanning transport, automotive and other well-known consumer brands, planning and buying across print, with the opportunity to pick up audio campaigns as you settle in.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of print planning and buying across a portfolio of client accounts
- Act as the go-to print specialist within a small team, providing expertise the rest of the team can rely on
- Support and eventually plan/buy audio campaigns, with training provided
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners and publishers
- Present media strategy and recommendations confidently to clients
- Collaborate closely with the wider account team and Director-level leadership
- Manage campaign delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong client outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Proven, hands-on experience in print media planning/buying — this is essential, non-negotiable
- Comfortable being the specialist "go-to" person for print within a team
- Some exposure to audio is a bonus, but not essential — full support given to upskill
- Currently operating at Senior Account Manager or Manager level, ready to step up to Associate Director
- Must have UK market experience
- Confident, credible communicator who can hold their own with clients and stakeholders
- Ideally 3-4+ years' relevant media agency experience
- Based in Central London — One Southwark Bridge
1-hour presentation with the wider team
Why this role?
Print specialists are genuinely hard to come by in today's increasingly digital-first media landscape, which makes this a rare and valuable opportunity to step into a senior, high-visibility role. You'll join a leading network agency with strong brand recognition, excellent progression opportunities, and a team that will value your expertise from day one.
