Major Players are partnering with a widely popular and fast-growing UK YouTube channel, who are looking to hire a Head of Production to oversee a small team, to deliver exceptional work. The channel has grown exponentially over the past few years, so they need someone who can refine processes as well as contributing to their continued success. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production team by creating a positive, motivating environment where people feel engaged and supported to deliver their best work.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality, original YouTube content from concept to publication.
  • Manage team workload and resources to ensure efficient use of time, talent, and tools.
  • Anticipate and resolve production challenges to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule.
  • Maintain, update, and enforce production processes and protocols to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to budgeting and resource planning, helping to forecast needs and control costs.
  • Track project timelines, deadlines, and resource allocation while setting clear and realistic expectations across teams.
  • Oversee traffic management workflows, providing support and guidance where needed.
  • Build and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring clarity and alignment for all stakeholders.
  • Manage digital and video projects throughout their full lifecycle—from initial brief through final delivery.
  • Communicate expectations, progress, and updates proactively and clearly across all teams.
  • Partner with the Post Production Manager to streamline post-production workflows and handovers.
  • Collaborate with Producers and Finance to support monthly and quarterly budget reconciliation.
  • Introduce and refine processes that increase efficiency, improve output quality, and strengthen production systems.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members to support their growth and skill development.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to manage multiple shoots and budgets simultaneously.
  • Understand both YouTube and larger multi-cam setups similar to TV and film.

Hours: Full time

Salary: £60-70,000, depending on level and experience

Benefits: 28 days plus bank holidays, Christmas company shutdown and Pension

Office Location: North London

Office requirements: Hybrid working, 2-3 days per week* *please note, travel will be required for shoot days/weeks, as well as occasional evenings and weekends
