Based in Newton Aycliffe, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2025. The offer a range of services from Design through to Manufacturing. This has given the company opportunities to service a multitude of sectors, with a client base stretching across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Press Setter to join their team. This opportunity gives a Press Operative the chance to work with a nationally recognized company who have supplied their products to major construction projects in the UK. You will be responsible for forming sheet metal profiles ready for fabrication or dispatch. Press Operative Main Duties: Perform safety check at the start of each shift Setting and running Edwards Pearson, Amada, Bystronic Press Break Program machine to produce accurate parts Ensure all angles and sizes are correct Check first off and last off, on each job Use suitable tooling for each different material and profile Check parts are of correct material Keep record of finished parts to make sure packing lists are correct Pack items safely onto pallets Full records to be kept of each job ran Keep work area tidyPress Operative Role Requirements: Ability to read detailed drawings Strong attention to detail Able to manage workload Organised with ability to meet deadlines Willingness to learn Use hand toolsIf you have the experience required then please get in contact with us to discuss further with a member of our team on (phone number removed).
