Major Recruitment are looking for forklift drivers on a permanent basis. Our client near to Northallerton is looking for experienced counterbalance drivers for immediate starts.
A PERMANENT CONTRACT Β£30k per annum with progression to Β£34k.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an FLT Driver to join their team on a Permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join an established, passionate team that are constantly striving to improve their capabilities and services for the business.
This opportunity as an FLT Driver gives you the chance to work with one of the most successful manufacturers in the region.
As an FLT Driver, you will join a rotating shift system: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm to 6am.
FLT Driver Duties:
- Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
- To help prioritise workloads within the department / designated warehouse area
- To deal with the movement of products within the warehouse, using a Counterbalance FLT
- Picking and packing duties when required, and taking instructions from supervisors and management
- Loading and unloading wagons
- Reach Truck usage in multi-level racking, approx. 10 meters high
- Maintain the company's health & safety standards at all times
- To follow all legal and company requirements to the use of forklifts in the Warehouse
FLT Driver Role Requirements:
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment
- An in-date Counterbalance Licence (RTITB / ITTSAR)
- An in-date Reach Truck Licence (RTITB/ITTSAR)
- Must be punctual
- Experience of working to targets
- Communicates effectively on all levels
- High attention to detail
- The ability to follow a process
- Professional attitude to work
