We’re hiring an HR Manager for a manufacturing business in Cambridge supporting a close-knit site of around 45 employees. This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll partner closely with operational leadership while also contributing to broader regional HR initiatives. The role offers a strong mix of local ownership and international exposure, ideal for someone who enjoys both day-to-day HR involvement and the opportunity to influence wider business activity.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR support for the Cambridge manufacturing site
- Partner with managers across production, engineering, and operations
- Support employee relations, performance management, engagement, and recruitment
- Drive HR process improvements and best practice
- Support leadership development and workforce planning
- Contribute to wider EMEA HR projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Previous HR experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or operational environments
- Strong HR generalist background
- Confident working autonomously within a smaller site environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded and practical in approach
