One of our clients, a global leader within their industry, is looking for an E&I Engineer to join their operations in maintaining and repairing complex machinery in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work or a multi-skill engineer with Electrical bias experience.

Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair valves, probes, sensors and other such instruments in industrial environments
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation issues using appropriate testing devices
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Perform preventative maintenance on systems to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Fault finding in valves, sensors, mass flow meters
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and according to HSE standards

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician
  • 18th Edition
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Experience in Hazardous environments, Atex, Compex, Comah a big plus
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
