Job Description
The role involves safe operation of Category C+E vehicles, ensuring timely and professional deliveries.
Benefits
- Temp to Perm after completing the probationary period
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Start times between 04:00-08:00
- Paying £17 per hour guaranteed, 8 hours per day
- Pay raises to £18.30 once permanently employed
- Drops/Collections or Trailer Swaps
- Weekly pay

- Accrued holiday weekly while on agency
Daily Duties
- Operating and driving Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring timely, safe and professional deliveries to customer sites
- Knowledge of driving/working hours
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Keeping the truck and equipment clean and tidy
Essential Skills
- Must have held a licence for a minimum of 24 months
- Must have a minimum of 24 months experience in HGV driving
- No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes
- Must be able to speak and read at a sufficient level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility and availability to work overtime as required
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Must be punctual and have good timekeeping
Desirable Experience
Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
