Our client is a leading compliance and sustainability tech platform, serving customers worldwide across manufacturing, pharma, and global enterprise. PE-backed, fast-growing, purpose-driven company - they are making several acquisitions in EMEA and APAC, and want to bring in a high-quality lawyer who can deal with the post-deal/integration, but also put themselves in the frame to be a more permanent resource to the company.
They are looking for a UK-qualified lawyer to join on a contractor basis for an initial 6–9 months, supporting their UK and broader European operations.
The role
Reporting to the EU based Regional Counsel, you will be the primary legal resource for the UK business — handling commercial contracts, corporate governance, and general in-house counsel support across a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Day to day, you can expect:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements with UK entities — content licensing, sales contracts, supplier arrangements
- Supporting UK and EU corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Monitoring UK law developments and keeping the global legal team informed
- Collaborating with Sales, Finance, and the US legal team on cross-border matters
- Contributing to template and playbook development
What they're looking for
- UK-qualified lawyer with 2–7 years' PQE, including in-house or commercial experience
- Comfortable operating independently in a lean, high-output environment
- Strong corporate/contracts background; SaaS or information services experience a plus
