A global technology-led organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Data Privacy Attorney to support and enhance its international privacy programme during a fixed-term engagement. This role will act as the primary point of contact for all data protection matters, partnering closely with senior legal leadership and cross-functional stakeholders worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, enhance, and operationalise a global data privacy framework
- Serve as the central advisor on GDPR and related international privacy regulations
- Provide hands-on support with privacy risk assessments, documentation, and internal advisory work
- Advise on AI governance and data-privacy implications of AI technologies, including emerging EU requirements
- Partner with legal, compliance, and business teams across multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistent privacy practices
- Oversee privacy tooling (e.g. OneTrust) for data mapping, DPIAs, and compliance workflows
- Experience in data privacy law, ideally in-house or supporting global organisations
- Strong, practical GDPR expertise (EU-focused)
- CIPP/E (or equivalent) certification
- Demonstrated experience advising on privacy and AI-related compliance issues
- Hands-on experience with OneTrust or similar privacy management platforms
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a global, matrixed, remote environment
- Remote role with regular engagement with EU-based leadership
- Fixed-term contract (8 months)
- Ideally suited to candidates with experience in international, scaling, or spin-off environments
