A leading investment bank is looking to hire an interim banking lawyer for a 6 month period – starting in January. This role will sit within the clients Global Corporate Banking legal team. This role focuses on mid-cap lending transactions and offers exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise internal stakeholders on lending transactions (bilateral and syndicated), including mid-cap investment grade, leveraged finance, and innovation economy.
- Negotiate client-facing loan documentation and review external legal/regulatory advice.
- Instruct external counsel and collaborate with internal legal colleagues.
- Manage significant responsibility from day one while working effectively as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ experience in lending transactions (law firm or in-house).
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
