We are partnering with a client to appoint an experienced Corporate Commercial Fractional Lawyer (10+ PQE) to support their business on a flexible, part-time basis. This is a varied and hands-on role covering both corporate and commercial matters, with a strong focus on the nuclear, renewables, and clean energy sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on strategic initiatives, contracts, and regulatory considerations.
The role would suit a lawyer who already maintains a portfolio of clients or engagements, and is comfortable balancing multiple workstreams within a flexible, fractional structure.
Time Commitment
- Flexible and variable based on business needs
- Periods of 1β2 days per week during peak activity

Key Responsibilities
- Corporate & Strategic
- Advise on corporate structuring, governance, and strategic transactions
- Support joint ventures, partnerships, and investment arrangements
- Commercial Contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
- Support project development, supplier, and customer contracting
- Develop and refine contract templates and processes
- Regulatory & Sector Advisory
- Provide legal input on nuclear, renewables, and clean energy projects
- Advise on relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations
- Support risk management and regulatory strategy
- General Legal Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice
Key Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 10+ years PQE
