A leading tech company seeks a senior employment counsel to join on a remote basis for 12 months initially. This could be 3-5 days a week dependent on experience. The role is stepping into the role of in-house counsel, but will cover multiple European jurisdictions. Excellent private practice qualifications and in-house experience as employment counsel a big plus, but experience in tech is not required.

Some ongoing duties will be:

  • Issue management: Grievance, disciplinary, tribunal claims etc.
  • TUPE related issues (including supplier contracts, outsourcing / insourcing – but only from the employment law side)
  • Reorgs, terminations, settlement agreements, etc.
  • Policy
