A leading, fast-scaling international business is looking to appoint a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its high-performing legal team in a broad, business-critical role. This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely diverse in-house position, combining high-value transactional work with strategic advisory exposure across the organisation.
The role will involve:
- Leading on major corporate transactions including M&A, equity/debt financing and strategic investments
- Advising on a wide range of additional matters such as treasury, ESOP/incentive structures, governance, ESG and investor relations
- Supporting global expansion initiatives alongside regulatory colleagues
- Partnering closely with commercial teams on key client arrangements
- Managing external counsel and overseeing corporate governance processes
Candidate profile:
- 7+ PQE corporate lawyer (UK, US or other common law qualified)
- Strong training with a leading international law firm
- Significant experience advising on complex, cross-border transactions
- Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Keen to broaden beyond pure corporate into a wider strategic remit
- Experience in fintech or another high-growth, dynamic environment
- Prior in-house exposure or secondment
- Familiarity with private fundraising, ESOPs or broader corporate support areas
