Head of FS Regulatory Lawyer (12-Month FTC)
Leading global financial markets business seeks an experienced Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer (ideally 10+ PQE) to join its EMEA legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, commencing December 2026.
The successful candidate will act as the lead regulatory legal adviser for the region, providing strategic and commercially focused advice on a broad range of financial services regulatory matters and partnering with key stakeholders across the business.
This role would suit a commercially minded lawyer with strong FS regulatory expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Experience gained in private practice and/or in-house within a bank, broker, exchange, fintech, or other financial services business would be advantageous.
Key requirements:
- 10+ years' PQE preferred
- Strong financial services regulatory experience
- Commercial and pragmatic approach
- Confident working with senior stakeholders
