Interim Group Data Protection & Compliance Manager – 12-Month Contract - ASAP start. A leading organisation in the UK’s transport and infrastructure sector, operating a network of strategic assets essential to the nation’s trade and supply chains, is looking to hire an Interim Group Data Protection & Compliance Manager for a 12-month contract.
The purpose of this role is to act as the data protection and corporate compliance adviser to the client’s business and other operations on the day-to-day affairs of the business.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the data protection and compliance adviser across multiple sites.
- Lead and oversee data privacy compliance, ensuring adherence to UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- Serve as the primary contact for external bodies such as the ICO.
- Maintain and implement data protection and compliance policies.
- Deliver training and raise awareness across the organisation.
- Conduct audits, manage data subject requests, and investigate breaches.
- Advise on legislative changes impacting the business.
