We are supporting a fast‑growing fintech business with the appointment of an Interim Legal Counsel on a 6‑month contract, starting as soon as possible. This role sits close to the commercial teams and senior leadership and focuses heavily on commercial and technology contracts, particularly in relation to technology and SaaS‑based products.

- Contract: 6‑month interim
- Start: ASAP/May 2026
- Location: Hybrid working model (2 days per week in the office as standard, with flexibility for greater presence if preferred)
Role focus
- Advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Supporting the commercialisation of SaaS and technology‑enabled products
- Advising on data protection and IP matters in a technology/fintech context
- Working closely with business stakeholders in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
Candidate profile
- Lawyers with circa 3–8 years’ PQE (flexible for the right skillset)
- In‑house‑qualified lawyers are welcome for this interim role
- Strong grounding in commercial contracts is essential
- Good understanding of: Technology and SaaS products, SaaS commercial models, Data protection and IP in a tech/fintech setting
- Prior fintech experience is advantageous but not essential, provided core commercial and technology fundamentals are strong
