Job Description
A leading Private Credit provider is looking to hire an interim Compliance Manager for a 6 month period. The ideal candidate can either have a Legal Compliance background or more broadly a Compliance focused background. The role will form part of the broader Legal, Compliance and Governance team and report to the Head of Legal. This is a generalist compliance role and offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate to play an important role within a rapidly growing business.
Role overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Updating and maintaining the compliance manual, policies, and procedures.
- FCA and other relevant regulatory filings.
- Compliance monitoring testing across all aspects of the compliance function, including planning, scoping, testing, and action closing.
- Preparation for external/internal audits and operational due diligence.
- Reviewing, approving, and maintaining registers related to conflicts of interest, restricted lists, errors and breaches, personal account dealing, outside business activities, and corporate gifts and entertainment.
- Coordinating and organizing compliance training for staff, including new joiners.
- Management of junior compliance professional(s).
