p Interim Senior Privacy Counsel | Life Sciences Healthcare Data /p p br /p p A highly innovative, publicly listed life sciences organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Privacy Counsel to join its legal and compliance team on an interim basis. /p p br /p p Operating at the forefront of healthcare innovation and data-driven research, the organisation is looking for a senior privacy specialist to help lead and enhance its global privacy programme during a critical phase of growth. /p p br /p p This role would suit a lawyer with significant experience advising on data protection and privacy matters within the pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, healthcare or clinical research sectors. /p p br /p p strong The Role /strong /p p Working closely with senior legal and compliance leadership, you will: /p ul li Provide strategic advice on global privacy and data protection matters /li li Support and develop the organisations global privacy framework and governance programme /li li Advise on GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA and international privacy requirements /li li Partner with clinical, R D, commercial and technology teams on the use of sensitive health and patient data /li li Lead privacy assessments, cross-border data transfer matters and risk mitigation initiatives /li li Support privacy incident response, investigations and regulatory enquiries /li li Review and negotiate data protection provisions, DPAs and related contractual arrangements /li li Drive privacy-by-design principles across business operations and new initiatives /li /ul p strong Candidate Profile /strong /p p Were interested in speaking with lawyers who have: /p ul li 10+ years experience in privacy, data protection or technology law /li li Strong knowledge of global privacy regulations, including GDPR and healthcare-related data requirements /li li Experience supporting or leading enterprise privacy programmes /li li A background in strong pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, clinical research or healthcare /strong /li li Experience advising on clinical trial, patient, research or other sensitive health datasets /li li Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills /li /ul p Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM or similar are advantageous. /p p Assignment Details /p ul li Fully remote /li li Senior, strategic advisory role /li li Immediate start preferred /li li Competitive interim rate /li /ul p br /p
