Interim Prime Brokerage Documentation Lawyer
A leading global investment bank seeking an experienced lawyer to join its legal team on an interim basis.
This role will focus on negotiating and advising on key prime brokerage, clearing and trading documentation, supporting a sophisticated global markets business.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate Prime Brokerage Agreements and Clearing Agreements.
- Advise business stakeholders on legal and commercial issues arising from client documentation.
- Support derivatives-related matters, including ISDA negotiation and documentation where required.
- Partner closely with front office, risk, compliance and operations teams.
- Provide practical day-to-day legal support across prime brokerage and financing activities.
Experience Required
- Qualified lawyer with experience gained in a leading law firm and/or financial institution. Strong negotiator profiles are also welcome.
- Strong experience negotiating Prime Brokerage Agreements, Clearing Agreements and similar trading documentation.
- Familiarity with ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs and related derivatives documentation is highly desirable.
- Previous experience supporting prime brokerage, securities financing, derivatives or broader markets businesses.
- Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
