Legal Secondee – Corporate & Commercial Banking (Loans)
Location: London (Hybrid) | Duration: 9 months
A leading investment bank is seeking a junior banking lawyer (1–3 PQE) to join its Corporate & Commercial Banking Loans Legal team on an interim basis.
This is a hands‑on role offering exposure to a high volume of lending transactions across EMEA, working closely with front‑office stakeholders in a fast‑paced in‑house environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising on bilateral and syndicated lending transactions
- Reviewing and negotiating NDAs and lending documentation
- Supporting the application of internal credit policies
- Drafting uncommitted facilities and reviewing ancillary documents (guarantees, opinions, waivers, etc.)
Key requirements:
- 1–3 years’ PQE with banking/finance experience
- Strong familiarity with LMA documentation
- Understanding of corporate lending market practice
- Commercial mindset and ability to manage high‑volume workflows
