Our client is seeking a contractor to provide legal support and focus on insurance legal matters across Marine, Aviation, Energy, Construction, and Credit Lines.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in UK insurance regulatory framework
- Experience drafting and reviewing complex insurance agreements
- Knowledge of specialty insurance lines a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated focus on collaboration and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review various agreements including:
- Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) agreements
- Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs)
- Facility Agreements
- Claims Handling Agreements
- Binding Agreements
Required Experience:
- Experience in UK insurance regulatory matters
- Demonstrated drafting skills for complex insurance agreements
- Strong understanding of agency law and distribution models in insurance
- Track record of successful collaboration in cross-functional teams
