Immediate requirement for an Interim Head of Employment Law for an initial 12‑month term, full‑time with a preference for 2 days a week office attendance. Reporting to the U.S. based General Counsel, the role will cover the UK sole employment lawyer position while also providing coverage across multiple European jurisdictions and the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Lead employment law strategy and advice for the social‑media platform across UK, EU, and US jurisdictions.
- Act as primary consultant for hiring interim employment lawyers and related legal expertise.
- Collaborate with the General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Legal Ops teams on talent acquisition and legal operations.
- Provide guidance on employment policy, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Excellent private practice experience in employment law.
- In‑house experience as employment counsel preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK, EU and U.S. employment legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑jurisdictional legal matters.
