We are looking for a commercial lawyer, ideally with experience in leading media outfits, to join a dynamic team of a leading streaming platform. This will be to join their business development team to focus on enabling the distribution of the client via a wide range of partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review, draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including reseller and distribution agreements
- Work closely with our business teams to summarize and communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively and help them synthesize legal frameworks into their business/deal strategies
- Advise the business on relevant legal contexts, issues and risks, complex agreement structures, approval processes, and company policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Post-qualification experience working in a top tier law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Team player with an ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience partnering with global stakeholders and partners
- Strong track record of working with a wide range of commercial agreements (any focus on technology, business development, content licensing, media and IP deal a bonus)
- You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Hybrid/remote working offered. This is expected to be for a 12 month duration.
