Major, Lindsey & Africa are working with one of Europe's most established consumer businesses, who are looking for someone to spearhead their Legal Operations strategy. It will be their first hire in this area, and is well-suited to a mid-senior level commercial contracts and/ or technology lawyer with some exposure to legal operations, who is looking to make this the focus of their work. The role is initially on a 6-month contract, but the client envisions this being a longer-term engagement as the successful candidate will play a key part in establishing this aspect of their legal team.

Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with 7+ years' PQE
- Strong background in commercial contracts and technology agreements, with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
- Previous experience in private practice is highly desirable.
- Exposure to legal operations, process improvement, contract management, and broader legal team support activities would be advantageous.
- Able to start immediately.
- Willing and able to work from a London office three days per week on a hybrid basis.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing a varied workload across commercial and operational legal matters.
