Legal Counsel (Commercial) – Central London (Hybrid) - Immediate Start A fast-growing and innovative financial services business is looking for a Legal Counsel (Commercial) to join its collaborative in-house legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer seeking broad exposure across commercial contracts, product development, data protection, and regulatory matters within a dynamic and expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities Draft, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology, Saa S, supplier, marketing and partnership contracts.
Support business teams with the development and launch of new products, services, and initiatives.
Provide advice on data protection and privacy matters, including customer-facing documentation and supplier arrangements.
Work closely with Compliance and other internal stakeholders on regulatory and legal issues.
Review and update customer terms and conditions and related legal documentation.
Assist with the implementation and optimisation of legal technology solutions.
Advise on a variety of legal matters including intellectual property, employment, property and dispute-related issues.
Deliver practical legal training and guidance across the business.
Candidate Profile Qualified lawyer with approximately 2–5 years’ PQE Strong commercial contracts experience, particularly within technology and Saa S agreements.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Able to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Experience within financial services or another regulated environment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
