Interim Structured Finance / Securitisation Lawyer (12-Month Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: September 2026
The Opportunity
A leading fintech lender is seeking an interim lawyer to join its legal team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role will focus on supporting a broad range of structured finance and securitisation matters, working closely with stakeholders across the business and reporting directly into a senior member of the legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on securitisation and structured finance transactions.
- Supporting ABS programmes, warehouse financing arrangements and related funding structures.
- Assisting with transaction execution, documentation review and negotiation.
- Providing day-to-day legal support to funding and capital markets teams.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel on strategic financing initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with experience in securitisation, structured finance, ABS and/or warehouse financing.
- Mid-level PQE preferred, although more senior candidates will be considered for the right experience.
- Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills.
- Prior in-house or financial services experience beneficial but not essential.
