MLA is supporting a globally recognised investor and operator in digital infrastructure and connectivity on a key strategic legal hire. With operations spanning multiple jurisdictions, the business is a major player across telecoms, broadband, media and technology assets, with a strong track record of complex M&A, joint ventures and platform investments. This hire sits within a high-calibre legal team and will work closely with a recently appointed senior leader (ex-top-tier private practice), reflecting continued investment in the function.

Reporting to the VP Legal, this is a senior, business-facing role with significant exposure to executive stakeholders and strategic decision-making.

  • M&A transactions across international markets
  • Corporate governance and board-level support
  • Lead legal input across the full transaction lifecycle, from structuring through to execution and integration
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across finance, tax, treasury and regulatory
  • Oversee external counsel and manage legal spend effectively
  • Support governance processes, including board and company secretarial matters

Strong background in M&A, company law and investment work (likely from a leading private practice or in-house team). Excellent organisational and project management capabilities. Experience in sectors such as telecoms, digital infrastructure, media, energy or technology. Experience supporting governance or company secretarial matters.
