Assistant Company Secretary - Tech - £100k

Full-Time No working from home possible
Major, Lindsey & Africa

A well-established, global technology and digital services business is hiring an Assistant Company Secretary to join its Company Secretariat team in a role with genuine scope for growth. This isn't a purely administrative seat. You'll work closely with the Deputy Company Secretary, engage directly with senior stakeholders, and take ownership of meeting outputs from day one: minuting, actions, follow-up, the lot. It's suited to someone ready to step up into a more accountable position within a well-established, fast-paced governance function. What you'll be doing Maintaining statutory registers and corporate records in line with the UK Companies Act; preparing and filing statutory documents with Companies House; supporting group entity administration (including Diligent Entities); running board and committee logistics end-to-end: scheduling, agendas, board packs, minutes; deputising for the Deputy Company Secretary where needed; and supporting share/equity incentive administration and corporate transactions (director changes, allotments, structure updates). What we're looking for Company secretarial or legal team experience, strong working knowledge of the Companies Act and corporate governance requirements, and the confidence to operate credibly in a boardroom with senior stakeholders. A law degree, Chartered Secretary qualification (or working towards one), or equivalent experience is expected. Diligent Entities exposure and familiarity with US regulatory frameworks (e.g. SEC) are a plus but not essential. Why this one Visibility, accountability, and exposure to senior stakeholders within a genuinely well-run governance function, not just process execution.
