Overview

A boutique law firm that focuses on Employment matters is looking to hire an interim Employment lawyer to assist on an ad hoc basis. There is also scope to hire on a permanent basis too.

The firm is made up of former City lawyers that focuses on Employment law. There is a steady pipeline of work with around 10 settlement agreements arising weekly. There is also broader project related work conducting employee due diligence for larger well-established organisations. There is a broad scope of work that can be allocated to the incoming candidate depending on their experience.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate needs to have a background in contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Experienced in drafting employment contracts for employers, negotiating entry and exits for senior employees, settling agreements, advice is advice in connection with grievance and disciplinary processes, HR compliance, dismissal advice and employment tribunals, alongside restrictive covenant, breach of confidence and some high court enforcement would be preferable.

This role can be done fully remotely within the UK. There is scope for this to be done on an ad hoc hourly basis or on day rates.
