We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Counsel to join the legal team of a market‑leading global social media and technology company. This is a high‑impact role supporting fast‑moving, revenue‑generating product and commercial initiatives across Europe and globally.

You will act as a trusted legal adviser to senior stakeholders across product, partnerships, sales, marketing, data, procurement and engineering, helping the business scale responsibly while managing legal and reputational risk in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex commercial, technology and strategic partnership agreements, including SaaS, platform integrations, licensing, APIs, data sharing, cloud services, ad tech and content‑related contracts.
  • Advise on new product launches and commercial models, providing pragmatic, commercially‑focused legal guidance.
  • Partner closely with product, commercial and operational teams, embedding legal support early in the lifecycle.
  • Provide strategic advice on data, privacy, regulatory and IP considerations impacting commercial arrangements.
  • Support global and regional initiatives, working with international legal teams across EMEA, the US and APAC.
  • Negotiate directly with sophisticated counterparties, including major technology providers, agencies and enterprise customers.
  • Contribute to process improvements, playbooks and scalable contracting solutions in a high‑growth environment.
  • Mentor junior lawyers and help shape best practice within the commercial legal team.
About You
  • Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with significant post‑qualification experience in commercial / technology law.
  • Strong background in complex commercial contracting within a technology, media, digital or platform‑based business (in‑house and/or top‑tier private practice).
  • Comfortable advising on contracts involving data usage, privacy, digital products, monetisation and global operations.
  • Commercially astute, solutions‑oriented and confident operating with senior business stakeholders.
  • Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving regulatory and product environment.
  • Experience working cross‑border and with international legal teams is strongly preferred.
